The Haunted Historian provides an unique insight into haunted locations, ghostly tales, myths and legends.
As a recognized paranormal historian, I offer assistance, through extensive research, to paranormal investigation teams and others who may be experiencing symptoms of haunted activity. With the benefit of archival documentation, not only have I collaborated with teams nationwide validating their findings, but also given help and support to those residing in haunted buildings.
The Haunted Historian also offers talks and lectures relating to all things strange, unusual, uncanny and occult.
Whether it be a site specific; delving into the haunted history of a particular location, examining the documented facts behind folklore, or discussing episodes from the paranormal past, The Haunted Historian offers an engaging, informative experience for all enthusiasts of the mysterious and macabre.
There is a common misconception that for a house to be haunted, it must be old, dusty, dilapidated and have been the site of some terrible death or crime. Whilst these features certainly do set a scene worthy of a Hammer Horror movie or two, this is seldom the case...not all ghosts wear white sheets, rattle chains or have evil intent or demonic origins.
Many modern, more recently constructed buildings also have the potential to house a haunting, and many of the commissions received by The Haunted Historian relate to such properties. Strange noises, unusual pet behavior and a general feeling of unease can all indicate a potential haunting, just as much as an apparition appearing at the bottom of one's bed.
If you feel that your house is a home to not just you and your family, but to someone or something unseen and you're curious to know more, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our extensive research is 100% free...all we ask is that you leave us a review!
As the service is completely confidential, the only detail which we require is the location/road name (no house numbers) and an active email address for the findings report to be sent to.
We explicitly ask that you DO NOT give any details as to the nature of the activity.
Please contact us either via this page, emailing askthehauntedhistorian.com, or calling 07704 962 999.

Tales I Have Been Told is a project that I have been working on for sometime...since childhood in fact.
Initially intended to be presented as a talk at my local museum, it picks apart all the myths and legends in and around Worcestershire that my family would tell me.
Having spent many long hours and days researching them, I found many of these tales to be, rather terrifyingly, based on actual incidents and crimes.
It is my hope that the book, of the same title will be released in late 2026.
